Dear Parents and Carers,
This week, we spent some quality time with our Prep 2025 families at the final Prep Step Up. As well as meeting new families to our College, one of the things that fills my heart most, is seeing our current families welcome new families into the community. SO many of our new enrolments have been because of your positive promotion of our school – thank you!
Stage 3
As we celebrate our Year 6 cohort’s final year of Junior School, it’s important to keep the legacy of leadership and mentorship growing. It’s a season of preparing students for their next step. This week we held captaincy speeches for aspiring leaders in Year 5. The results of this process will be announced at the Awards Assembly, next Wednesday. We also enjoyed the Year 6 students leading their final Chapel service.
CPA Soiree / Sports Awards Evening
Tonight, we celebrate the efforts and achievement of our Performing Arts and Ensemble members at the CPA Soiree. This event begins at 4.00pm and flows into the Sports Awards evening, which begins at 6.00pm, recognising our Netball, Futsal and Volleyball team members. The flyer below provides further details. Junior school-based Performing Arts and Sports Awards will be presented at the upcoming Awards Assembly service.
Awards Assembly
Students selected to receive special awards will be presented at our upcoming Awards Assembly, Wednesday 13 November. Parents of recipients have been notified and we welcome parents to attend, Real Life Christian Church from 2.00pm.
Spare Books/Stationery
Our staff are busy sorting any stationery or books that have not been used throughout the year. Any additional items will be sent home by Friday to assist you in ordering booklist items for 2025.
Celebration
Our Celebration event is drawing near. The student’s rehearsals are going so well, and we have costumes coming together. On Thursday 28 November, bring your camping chairs and picnic rugs down to the oval as we celebrate a fantastic 2024.

Round 10 - 1 November 2024
Performing Arts Soiree
Looking forward to seeing you tonight from 4pm – 6pm for our Performing Arts Soiree in the Cunningham Pavilion at the Carbrook Campus.
New Music Bags
We are releasing a performing arts bag for students to be able to carry music books, guitar footrests etc. These will be available to purchase for $5 from Dr Holley at morning tea on Mondays in the reception. Please bring $5 cash if you would like to purchase one for your child.
End of Term Recital
All students learning instruments in private lessons will have a performance on Sunday 17th November in the afternoon.
12:00pm – All guitar students @ Carbrook
1:00pm – All Carbrook Student Performers
2:30pm – All Springwood Student Performers
End of Year Performances
Beginner and Intermediate Band, Beginner and Intermediate Strings will be performing at Assembly on Wednesday 27th November. Please make sure all students have their instruments with them on the day.
