What is Alpha?

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that explore life, faith and meaning. It is a chance to share thoughts and ideas on each session's topic and discuss them in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything, and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously). It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly, and open environment.

Parents and  the wider college community are warmly invited to participate.

Dear Parents/Guardians

As we move into the second last week of term, it has been encouraging to see the Junior School settle into a rhythm of focused learning and steady progress. While there have been fewer major events on the calendar, classrooms have been busy with the important work of learning, growing and finishing the term strongly.

A reminder that the Amazing Race: Family Edition is taking place tomorrow afternoon. We would love to see families come along and enjoy this fantastic community event organised by our Middle and Senior School students.

Looking ahead to Week 9, we are excited to celebrate our College Leaders at assembly as they are formally recognised for their service and contribution to our school community.

Finally, a reminder that the last day of term will be a free dress day with a gold coin donation. Students are welcome to wear their favourite pyjamas or Oodies; however, please remember that it is still a full day of learning and play, so clothing should be comfortable, practical and suitable for all school activities.

CAPA Update

Sunset Soiree

What an amazing time we had at the Sunset Soiree! To kick the fun off, we had over 150 individual student performances (from Preps to Yr 12) over six different stages -  some even brave enough to perform outside the café.  We also had our entire Sports Aerobics teams perform in the Pavilion – what a joy to see.

Our Concert then featured all of our Junior School Performing Groups – over 300 students involved! The students were professional, polished, amazing performers – and for most of them it was their first time playing an instrument on the stage.  Whatever the age of your child is, please congratulate them on their bravery and musicality, as every single child was simply amazing!

What’s Next? Keep an eye out for SHOWCASE in Term Three – Friday August 28, 6pm!

AMEB Rock School – Exams this Friday – good luck to all involved!

Chinchilla Trip Donations

Each year, our Year 9 students travel to Chinchilla and Tara Shire for their Service Trip in September. As part of this initiative, we are collecting donations of shoes, warm blankets, and winter clothing for students at Tara Shire State College, where many families would benefit from additional support. Students can bring their items to class throughout the term.
