This year, we’re excited to welcome a new band, The Smashing Bumpkins, well-known for hosting school and community Bush Dances. Tickets can be purchased in advance using the link below or at the door on the night. This is one of our favourite social events, bringing together parents from both campuses for a fun-filled evening.

Introduction from our Head of School, Zoe O'Donnell
This year we have reset our behaviour focus and have looked to Micah 6:8 to guide our interactions with others. He has told you what he wants, and this is all it is: to be fair, just, merciful, and to walk humbly with your God.
From this verse, we have adopted 3 key expectations for the whole Junior School;
- Be Fair
- Be Kind
- Be my best self
Each of our teachers are unpacking what each of these characteristics look like for students in their stage. We are also exploring each of these during our assembly time. We look forward to seeing many of you tonight at our Parent information night (starting at 6pm, location changed to The Burnett Theatre).
Update from Head of Performing Arts, Dr Gary Holley
Thank you to all the students who attended Music Camp last weekend. It was a great opportunity to start the year and interact with the other students. All group lessons and ensembles will begin next week. Please see the timetable for rehearsal times. Teachers will email the timetable for lessons.
On Wednesday morning, we have the leadership induction at Carbrook. Students in the Senior Strings and Concert Band will be performing at this event. A separate email will be sent to parents regarding this.

Calvary Dance 2025
Calvary Dance is back again for 2025. Classes will be offered on Tuesday Afternoons commencing from next week. Classes will be as follows:
- Pre-Primary Ballet (Prep) Tuesday 2:15pm – 3:00pm
- Primary Ballet (Year 1 and 2 school) Tuesday 3.10pm - 3.50pm
- Grade 2/3 (Years 3-6 school) Tuesday 3.50pm - 4.30pm
