At Calvary, we encourage every student to live out our College expectations: be kind, be fair, and be your best self, guided by Micah 6:8, “act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.” In Junior School, being your best self can look different for every child—trying your hardest in class, encouraging a friend on the playground, showing courage in swimming lessons, or using your talents in music or sport.
We also know that many of our students are showing their best selves beyond the classroom—whether that’s playing in a weekend sport team, serving at church, helping at home, or caring for a sibling. To celebrate this, our upcoming Awards Assembly will feature the “Living Micah 6:8 Photo Challenge.” This will give us the opportunity to acknowledge all the wonderful ways our children are growing in kindness, fairness, and faith.
If you would like your child to be included, please send a photo of them “Living Micah 6:8” to the
Please note to use your child's first and last name when adding your photo.
We look forward to celebrating together how God is shaping each of our students to shine brightly in all areas of their lives.

Dear Parents and Carers,
What a week it’s been! Our students have shown true resilience, whether it’s been uncomfortably hot or pouring rain, they’ve tackled every day with smiles and spirit. The highlight, of course, was our Prep and Stage 1 Combined Campus Swimming Carnival! From confident strokes to incredibly serious duck races, the pool was filled with colour, courage, and teamwork. A huge thank you to our staff, families, and Year 6 leaders for making the day such a success. We’re so proud of our young swimmers for diving in, giving their best, and celebrating each other all the way.
As we look ahead to Friday 31 October, World Teachers’ Day, we give thanks to God for the gift of our teachers and the way they help create a Christ-centred environment where every child feels safe, valued, and deeply loved.
Special Calvary Performing Arts Assembly
We warmly invite family and friends to join us for the Calvary Performing Arts 2025 Highlights Assembly on Thursday, 6 November, commencing at 2:15pm in the Calvary Community Centre.

Our school oval requires maintenance following the cyclone earlier this year to ensure the ground cover remains in good condition. Due to the availability of the maintenance company, the oval will be closed from 4 November to 20 November 2025.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Completing the maintenance now will help avoid greater disruption if the works were delayed until February next year.
