At Calvary, we encourage every student to live out our College expectations: be kind, be fair, and be your best self, guided by Micah 6:8, “act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.” In Junior School, being your best self can look different for every child—trying your hardest in class, encouraging a friend on the playground, showing courage in swimming lessons, or using your talents in music or sport.

We also know that many of our students are showing their best selves beyond the classroom—whether that’s playing in a weekend sport team, serving at church, helping at home, or caring for a sibling. To celebrate this, our upcoming Awards Assembly will feature the “Living Micah 6:8 Photo Challenge.” This will give us the opportunity to acknowledge all the wonderful ways our children are growing in kindness, fairness, and faith.

If you would like your child to be included, please send a photo of them “Living Micah 6:8” to the

Drop Box Carbrook

Please note to use your child's first and last name when adding your photo.

We look forward to celebrating together how God is shaping each of our students to shine brightly in all areas of their lives.

Deputy Principal, Junior School - Kim Winton

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Term 4!

A special welcome to the new students and families joining our Calvary community this term—we are so glad to have you with us. We also welcome back Mrs Zoe O’Donnell, who returns after her Long Service Leave in Term 3.

Term 4 is always an exciting and busy time in the Junior School. We look forward to celebrating our students’ learning and achievements through several key events, including the Awards Assembly, Celebration, Performing Arts and Sports Awards, and of course, our final Christmas Chapel. It is fitting that our theme for this year’s Celebration is PRAISE, as these occasions give us wonderful opportunities to come together as a community to praise God and acknowledge the growth and accomplishments of our students.

We are excited for the term ahead, working in partnership with you to make Term 4 a memorable and strong finish to the year.

Mango Café Update

The café continues to provide a rotating weekly menu providing themed food options such as Mexican, Italian and Asian food options. Whilst we welcome our students to walk into the Café to purchase their food, we encourage the use of our online ordering system to guarantee access to all of the food options that are available.

We have taken the difficult decision to review some of the sell prices of our regular items. Just as we are all noticing the cost of our grocery bills increase at the supermarket, the Café is not immune to these same significant increases. We wish to provide an affordable option to families, so we have refrained from increasing our prices over the past two years. We can no longer absorb these increases and maintain the same level of customer service and food options we have been previously able to offer.

We welcome all parents to visit us for your morning drink of choice or to even pause and take the opportunity to have breakfast with friends or family. The Café is open from 7:30am every morning.

We appreciate the support of the entire Carbrook community and look forward to serving you and your family during this term.
