Dr Judith Lock Parent Session
& Student Disco
Thurs 19 February @ 5.30pm - 7.30pm
Essential questions to ask yourself to check that your Primary child is on track.
The primary years are often a tricky period to get right with children, as they are often becoming both more and less mature, their emotions are a little more up and down the older they get, and their interests and personality might seem to change… from day to day! So how can you get through this period of change with positivity and success, and ensure that everyone still likes each other at the conclusion?
Clinical Psychologist, Dr Judith Locke, is returning to offer this follow up session to parents of primary students. In this session, Judith will use latest research and clinical experience to show practical, positive, and effective strategies parents can use to check on their child’s progress and help their child successfully get through the developmental changes of these different ages and stages while maintaining family harmony.
**This is a Parent Only session, and a student disco will be on at the same time for Prep to Stage 3 students.

Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been another fantastic week across the Junior School with students now settled into learning and classroom routines. It is evident that our students are ready to step beyond their classroom and experience learning and connection through cocurricular clubs. Our Clubs roster is attached to the tile above. Clubs give our students opportunity to connect with others, explore new interests, and build a strong sense of belonging and purpose within our school.
We have also included our Unit Overviews to give you some insight into the learning taking place in each stage, along with practical ways you can support learning at home.
A reminder that our Year 6 Leadership Induction Assembly will begin at 2:10pm next Thursday. Finally, we look forward to welcoming families to our Parent Information Night tonight at 6:00pm in the Burnett Theatre, followed by classroom sessions.
