At Calvary, we encourage every student to live out our College expectations: be kind, be fair, and be your best self, guided by Micah 6:8, “act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.” In Junior School, being your best self can look different for every child—trying your hardest in class, encouraging a friend on the playground, showing courage in swimming lessons, or using your talents in music or sport.
We also know that many of our students are showing their best selves beyond the classroom—whether that’s playing in a weekend sport team, serving at church, helping at home, or caring for a sibling. To celebrate this, our upcoming Awards Assembly will feature the “Living Micah 6:8 Photo Challenge.” This will give us the opportunity to acknowledge all the wonderful ways our children are growing in kindness, fairness, and faith.
If you would like your child to be included, please send a photo of them “Living Micah 6:8” to the
Please note to use your child's first and last name when adding your photo.
We look forward to celebrating together how God is shaping each of our students to shine brightly in all areas of their lives.

Head of Community & Wellbeing, Carbrook Junior School - Zoe O'Donnell
Dear Parents and Carers,
One of the many special things about Calvary is the vibrant community and wow was it on show this week? Our Cross Country event was so successful thanks to the dedication and planning of our staff. The kids showed resilience running in warmer weather, yes their cheeks were red but they were happy. Whether they ran competitively or held hands to cross the finish line, I was proud of the character each student showed. This vibe was then continued today as our Piccolo choir sang at assembly. It was so impressive to see our youngest students already showing this level of investment and commitment.
God has made each of our students with unique gifts and talents and what a blessing it is to see them embrace this individuality during their Junior School years.
Prep & Stage1 Swimming Carnival
The annual Calvary Prep-Stage1 Swimming Carnival will be held on Wednesday 29 October. Please see the parent note for more information and submit your permission via the notification email.
