Head of Community & Wellbeing, Carbrook Junior School - Zoe O'Donnell
Dear Parents and Carers,
As we enter the final weeks of Term 4, there is a real sense of joy building across our Junior School. Celebration rehearsals, class community moments and our upcoming Step-Up Days are bringing wonderful energy as students look forward to the festivities and the excitement of transitioning into a new year.
This week’s Awards Assembly was a proud community moment, celebrating students who continually strive for excellence. It was heart-warming to honour both character and academic achievement, two pillars we value highly.
Next Tuesday, all students will be able to be collected early at 12:00pm for rest and reset before our Celebration event. Prep and Stage 1 students can be signed out at their classrooms, while Stage 2 and 3 students can be signed out from the CCC. It is so helpful for our students to have some downtime before a big, joyous evening.
Please also note a small change: Free Dress Day has moved to Tuesday 3 December so that students can enjoy Christmas Chapel in their festive outfits. The final day of school will remain a sports uniform day.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we finish the year with delight and gratitude.
