Dear Parents/Guardians,
One of the highlights this week was watching our Stage 2 and 3 students compete in the Volleyball Primary Schools Cup. They displayed tremendous determination, teamwork and resilience throughout the day, while also demonstrating excellent sportsmanship both on and off the court. We are incredibly proud of the way they represented our school.
This was followed by Mrs Winton and a group of Stage 2 students leading our assembly and introducing Glassman and Cool Cucumber from the Superflex program, which forms part of our Formation curriculum. Glassman represents those moments when we overreact to small problems or allow minor disappointments to feel much bigger than they are, while Cool Cucumber reminds us to stay calm, regulate our emotions and respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively. Their message provided a valuable reminder for all students as we continue to grow in character and relationships this term.
Back to School Boost Payment
The College has received the Back to School Boost payment, a Queensland Government cost-of-living relief initiative that provides an annual $100 credit for each primary school student (Prep to Year 6).
This initiative is not paid directly to families. Instead, the funds have been applied as a credit to your student’s school fee account.
Your next fee statement will reflect a $100 credit, reducing your outstanding balance for Term 4. If your 2026 school fees have already been paid in full, the credit will be carried forward and applied to your 2027 fees.
If you have any questions please contact fees on 07 3287 6222 or via fees@cavlarycc.qld.edu.au
