Reader's Cup Challenge, Chapel, Jnr Showcase Rehearsal, Jnr Showcase Performance & Ag Show Team Quiz Night

Dear Parents and Carers,

Today we enjoyed our Stage 2 and 3 Athletics Carnival. The weather was perfect, the students full of energy and house spirit soaring. Whether students were competing with progression to the next level in mind, or just in it to have some fun, I think all would agree that it was a very successful day. Events like today would not be possible without the leadership of our PE staff - Mr Tim McInnes and Mr Brendon Linning, as well as all the staff who served in various roles to make each event possible. Thank you to our parent helpers as well, for your support and encouragement today.

Chaplaincy Week

It is National Chaplaincy Week. Calvary is very blessed to have a solid foundation and strong connection to Real Life Christian Church. Pastor Clare, Pastor Jayden and Pastor Dan (MSS) from Real Life work alongside our staff and students in the chaplaincy space here at school. This week, we recognise and appreciate the value they add to our community. Our Chapel services, planned and delivered by this dynamic team, are filled with messages that speak truth into the lives of our students. Our student leaders grow under the mentorship and influence of Pastor Jayden. We are so grateful to have a team passionately on mission to serve our community in this space.

Ps Jayden
Ps Clare (1)

Met East Regional Cross Country

Congratulations to Emily Day, who placed 8th at this week's ME Regional Cross Country!  We are so proud of your commitment and the effort you have put in to achieve this inspiring result.

National Simultaneous Storytime

On Wednesday the entire Junior School was involved in National Simultaneous Storytime.

Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country. National Simultaneous Storytime is a fun event that aims to promote the value of reading and literacy. Here is a link to this year’s book if you’d like to re-read it at home.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhH-OmyRO74

School Locker Stores will open on Friday

School Locker stores will re-open on Friday 24 May.

Following some significant stock losses, not all sizes of all garments will be available. Stock has been re-ordered and School Locker expects to be fully stocked by the end of June.

For the rest of this term, please send your children to school in any Calvary uniform garment you have that is in good repair. This will mean there may be days your child wears a formal jacket with a sports uniform or vice versa.

We ask that students wear their uniforms neatly and continue to respect shoe,  jewellery, hair and makeup requirements.

Thank you for your patience through this challenging time for School Locker.

You may be aware that there has been an increase in different viruses going around in our community. To safeguard our students as much as possible, if your child is unwell with viral symptoms (runny nose, sore throat, fever, rash, cough) please consider keeping them home until symptoms are no longer present. Please note if your child presents to the Health Hub unwell with viral symptoms and/or with a temperature of 37.5 or above you will be contacted to collect your child.
