Dear Parents and Carers,
Term 3 has had so many highlights. The students have shone in sporting arenas and athletics, co-curricular clubs and competitions, performing arts and in their learning. As well as this, we have seen and felt the support of the community that surrounds them, at our community events, Happy Hens and Chapel services. Thank you!
Showcase
Showcase last weekend was an incredible display of individual instrumental performances, as well as ensembles, orchestral and dance performances. I love this event because the hard work of practising is not always realised until the first note is played on stage for an audience.
The CAPA program has a lot to offer. If your child is interested in learning an instrument, or taking part in a band or ensemble, there are options available. Just visit the website to sign up for Term 4 or for next year.
Term 4 Tuckshop
We are looking for parent volunteers for our Term 4 Tuckshop roster. Please consider offering some time helping Sheryl prepare food and serve the students. We need helpers on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays for Term 4. Please use the link below to put your name down for a day and time that suits you. Whether you can help out weekly, only once or a few times in the term – it all helps!
Prep & Stage 1 Swimming Lessons
Our Prep and Stage 1 Swimming Carnival will be held next term and in the lead up to this, we want our little ones to feel safe and develop some confidence in the water.
Next term all students in Prep and Stage 1 will take part in their swimming lesson program. Swimming caps and excursion bags are available from the office. The swimming lessons schedule has been sent to families to refer to and can also been seen in our Sports Section below. Information about the Carnival, later in Term 4, will be distributed next term.
Compassion Australia
Our Missions Club are also supporting Compassion Australia's - Step Into My Shoes Campaign. Students and/or families are encouraged to take part in this fundraising initiative over the school holidays. Please see information below.

Free Dress Day - Last Day of Term
Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is a Free Dress Day for the students. Please bring in a Gold Coin donation towards our Compassion Kids program.
As we head towards holidays, I pray all our Calvary families enjoy a well-earned rest. Have a safe and fun time away, if you have something planned, and don’t forget that our first Monday of Term 4 is a Public Holiday. We will see everyone again on Tuesday 3 October.

Wow what a night! Congratulations to all students and teachers on a successful Showcase. I hope that you all get to have a good rest over the holidays. We will see you back in Term 4 as we prepare for Carols.

Bus Minder - Term 4 Intercampus Bus Passes
Just a reminder that Term 4 bus passes are available to be purchased on Bus Minder from Monday 18 September through to Friday 6 October 2023.
Please ensure all Bus Minder accounts are in credit by 29 September 2023. We will not be able to offer the bus service to any families whose accounts are not in credit by that time. If you wish to talk to the Finance Department, please contact them anytime during the School holiday period on the Carbrook reception 3287 6222.
