Dear Parents and Carers,

Encouragement and affirmation are powerful tools that we use to show our children who we see them to be. Our final events, including the Affirmation service, have been special moments for our 2024 Year 6 cohort and their families to reflect on their journey in Junior School and prepare for the season ahead. We pray God’s richest blessings over you all!

Celebration

Final rehearsals are underway for our Celebration service tonight. Please ensure you arrive by 5.30pm. The oval will be open from 5.15pm for families to claim their spot and set up for a fun and exciting event.  Please walk Prep and Stage 1 students to the Mini Grandstand by 5.45pm.  Stage 2 and 3 students will sit with their families until Intermission, during which time Prep and Stage 1 can be collected and Stage 2 and 3 students will assemble at the Grandstand.

End of Year Reminders

As we draw to the end of the year, please be reminded of these important details:

  • If your child would like to bless peers with cards etc for Christmas, please send these in next week only. Prep and Stage 1 teachers will help facilitate handing out for you.
  • Class end of year parties are scheduled for next Tuesday or Wednesday, please see individual stage communication for details.
  • Christmas Chapel will be on from 9.00am at Real Life Christian Church next Tuesday 3 December, all are welcome!
  • Booklist orders need to be made (if using Campion) by 11 December 2024.
  • Class placements for 2025 will be confirmed early January, when you will receive an email from your child’s 2025 teacher.

The Great Water Fight

Students (and parents if you dare), don’t forget to bring your water gun next Wednesday for our Prep – Year 5 Water Fight. This occurs at the end of the day from 2pm, and students head home wrapped in a towel. To minimise lost property, we recommend sending students in clothes that you don’t mind getting wet. This means less items to lose and less time taken to get changed at second break. All students should wear closed in shoes but may bring shoes they can get wet (closed in recommended to avoid ant bites, but thongs are acceptable), as well as a hat, goggles or sunnies. Of course, bring a named water pistol/ pump. We will have sprinklers and water buckets for reloading in our designated Stage play areas.

The Great Water Fight is a fun way to cool off at the end of a busy term. Parents, you are welcome to join in.
