Dear Parents and Carers,

Tonight is the final round of scheduled Parent/Teacher Interviews. I hope you’ve found the opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher encouraging. If you have missed an interview this week, just email your class teacher.

NAPLAN - Donut Stress

As well as giving each NAPLAN test their all, staff are so proud of and impressed by the level of resilience our Year 3 and 5 students have shown this week. Everything new and different can feel uncomfortable at first. The support of the teachers, parents and Mrs Stones’ Donut Stress about the Test program, is evident through the way our students have approached this week with a positive mindset.

Year 7 Tour

Whether Year 7 is just around the corner for your child or a few years away, it is good to be equipped with knowledge and a visual of how Middle School works. The next tour of Carbrook’s Middle and Senior school is being held on Wednesday 20 March, 5.30-7.00pm. Spend time with key staff who lead the College and co-curricular areas, while being shown around campus.

Just a reminder that the Canberra zoom information session for students and parents of Year 6 will be held on 19 March from 6pm. The access link has been emailed to all Year 6 parents, along with the camp booklet. Included in the email sent are instructions for a few important details we need from parents. Please provide this information by Thursday 21 March.
